R50/53 Woodstock Generation (50's)
Love and Peace, brothers and sisters! Who out there in Minicyberspace belongs to the Woodstock generation? I drove my beige '69 Beetle with an orange flower on the driver's door and a peace sign on the rear bumper to the Woodstock Music Festival way back when.......and today I drove my 2002 Mini Cooper S out into the world for the first time. Not only do I have THIS new driving machine, but I feel like I have my little love bug back again! Even though we're not so young anymore, we haven't become old foggies just yet. We still know how to have fun......and this makes me feel like I have recaptured a part of my youth. Wynnewood, PA (suburban Philadelphia) where I live, will never be the same after this. In the words of our generation, ones little used or remembered any more................ "Far out!"

I'm with you here, Herby74, I had a 1972 BMW 2002 that I immedately flashed back to when I sat behind the wheel of the new MINI. I've never felt 50 since I obtained it, and the feeling I get driving my MINI helps keep the youthful thoughts coming. RIGHT ON !
