On Thursday afternoon I changed the spark pluds and did an oil change on Emily('02 MCS). After checking for leaks, cleaning up, etc., I reset the oil-change-interval gizmo, and the oil-change-interval changed to 15,000 miles (what a joke), but the remaining miles, average MPG, and average speed didn't change.
I thought they were all tied in together.
Did I do something wrong?

Unless you disconnected the battery, or held the computer button whilst on ave mpg or ave speed, they won't reset. Remaining miles is based on fuel left in the tank and driving style.

You have to tune the OBC to the number you want reset, and then hold down the button that cycles through them. This is how you reset the average MPG, average speed, etc.
