Hello All ! Santa brought an 04 Chili Red S with a bow on top. I was floored. Window sticker claims 2 option packages. 60k 6 sp Getrag It runs very well, tight shifting, no rattles, great car ! I'm looking for an info concerning : 1 belt change 2 oil change 3 Break change etc etc. I can't afford to pay 92 per hour but I know without a manual or help from NAM, I'll be in a world of hurt . Car is a DD ( 70 miles to and from work ). I plan on doing as much backyard work in it as possible. This is my first time here to this forum and it certainly won't be my last. Are BMW shop maunals for the MINI S available ?

 

There are lots of how to threads on here for all basic maintenance. If you want a service manual, a great one is put out by Bentley Publishers. It can be had from several of the MINI vendors.

 

Thanks nabeshin !! I'll look at NAM's vendor section and hopefully find the manual . I know i'll need plenty of band-aids for my knuckles !

 

I probably should have listed a few that I know have it. I think outmotoring, moss, and mini mania carry it.

There are also Mini Cooper/BMW service manuals on CD. I paid less than $20 for mine.

 

There are Bentley manuals occasionally on NAM's marketplace but they are few and far between...cigarman is right...EBAY is where I got mine, 78 USD...the best place for info is here....very large braintrust...and people willing to help
