Hi everyone, I don't post often so many of you won't recognize me but I am always lurking. I enjoy reading the posts and can't wait to order my MC. I was just wondering what options need to be ordered to get a full set of toggle switches. I saw a P/W MC on ebay and it appeared to have toggle switches for the windows and locks but thats it. Thanks in advance for any responses.

1 for each window, 1 for locks, 1 for dsc, 1 for front fogs, 1 for rear fogs...

But for us in USA wouldn't have the rear fogs toggle switches because I don't think is part of our option.

Maybe on the 04's

apparently it is on the 04s.. no reason to duplicate a thread that exists a million times over... search for it if you are interested,.

anyway, thats the final toggle is for.

Since you are an infrequent poster I would not want you to be inhibited. It is very common for same/similar things to get posted again. It is impossible to read them all. The bonnet with the cleavage photo will be reposted forever. Post on!

Rear foglights are going to become a hotter topic around these parts now that the 'official' kit is available from MINI. Stay tuned. Mine's on order!

You don't need rear fogs (regardless of whether or not they're an option) to get a full set o' toggles

driver window
passenger window
ASC
DSC
fogs
locks

Or did I just read the post incorrectly?
Anyway... that's what you'd need

No, ya need the rear fogs for a full compliment of toggles. ASC and DSC are exclusive of one another (with ASC is part of DSC). There is no separate switch for the two (although I know people who wish they were seperately controlled!).

Hot topic. The kit can be retrofitted on any MINI already sold, yes an installation charge applies. All new orders can have them factory installed. According to the news articles I've seen. Oh, and yes you need that option to fill up the panel, the real reason petitioned to have them in the U.S.

I ordered an 04 MCS and I was told that the rear fogs were not a factory option, but a dealer installed option exclusively.

It was to be available in September, but just having my 10K service done and asking to have it installed, the dealer told me it would be the first of the year for the retrofit installation kits. I was also told it would run $70 to $80.

Really? Oh well, so much for mag articles online. They said it would be a factory install but then again the dealers need to make money on us. This would make sense. Thanks for the correction I'm learning something everyday.
