Alright, last winter my boot hatch handle froze and i actually got it replaced at motorwerks MINI because they said it was broken on the inside or something along those lines. Anyways i went to open my boot tonight and its froze again! does this happen to everyone in 0degree weather? do i just wait till it warms up? what could i spray on it maybe to warm it up? thanks!
I have a 2008 mini and my boot handle is frozen right now :( I can open it with the remote but not by hand. I'm hoping it will work when it will be warmer temperature.
It happened to me a few times last winter.
I had to take the rubber seal off and pull the ice out before it would work again. (don't have a warm garage to let it melt)
