I understand. I've hated any car I've driven ever since I've been 17 (1 year of driving under the belt then). So for the past year I havent been able to stand my parents Yukon XL and our old GMC Safari and the Tacoma. I've been waiting forever and Andre will be here in 2 weeks and I wont have to worry anymore about those other cars. But of course I'm at FSU and I wont be allowed to have a car here (I've got some convincing to do).

Driving other cars after the Mini can be interesting. I appreciate my Mini more when I have the occasion to drive other cars. I like that. I own a '42 Chrysler and a '46 Plymouth. Both are original and run well. Last week I drove the Plymouth for the day-- it's a real challenge to drive a huge clunky car like that. Then, the next day, I slip the MCS out of the garage, down the drive and off for some quick turns and high revs. All the more fun for having been without!!!

God speed.

Glad you are getting the scratches fixed, Twinky. I have a 96 Saab 900 that I drive to work (I fear the first ding on the Mini). It is always a pleasure to get home and take the Mini out. Yes, the Saab is smooth on the road, but it feels like it's as heavy as a Hummer in town and the clutch is incredibly stiff for town tooling. I was planning for the Saab to be my road car, but after taking my first weekend trip in the Mini, it is just too much fun for that too. The Saab is a nice set of wheels but the Mini is a much greater rush* to drive.
