Hey guys, well i have been reading about the mini cooper for a few months now, and just read about the cooper s and now i am intrigued, however i have a concern. I am a little on the rotund side, and am concerned about fitting comfortably inside. I have a 2001 VW GTI now, and it is decevingly large inside, and i fit quite well, in fact my father and i are both rotund and have taken many roadtrips and ridden quite nicely.

that being said, how roomy are the coopers, should i even be considering one, or should i move on?

Honestly I would think that you would never really know until you get in one and see for yourself if it is gonna work or not. The mini is supposed to have a lot of room inside for the size of the car, but you never know.

 

My husband is a BIG guy too. He owns a 99 beetle and loves the inside feel. Saturday he got his first feel of the CooperS and said it was a little smaller than the bug but still comfortable . I will be driving primarily but he said his 6"4" 375+ lbs body would do well in it also. Hope this helps. Ya should go climb in one though.
