R50/53 Who has a MINI that does not rattle?
12,000 miles: one cracked windshield, dealer replaced.
ZERO rattles, except for the times my better half puts her spare change in the passenger side door bin instead of using the (ashtray) change holder.

No Rattle here !!!!
I just got out of a Corvette so I'm not going to even try to tell you how much that thing squeeked and banged and rattled. When the temperture went down it was worse then you could ever imagine. It is just what Corvettes do. It was my third one so I knew there was nothing wrong with it rattling and it was not going to self-destruct from it.
My 2009 JCW does not rattle, Squeek, or bang at all. It does have some tire noise on certain roads just like my Corvette did. ( RUN-FLAT TIRES) I do not have any wind noise in my Mini. The Corvette had some but I just covered it by turning the radio up.
I now have 2,655 miles on my Mini with "NO" complaints or problems at all.
The more I drive my JCW, The more I like it.
I had a chance to sell this JCW for more then I paid for it but it is just not for sale at all. I'm gonna keep it for a while.

The only annoying noise I have is the squeak from the rear anti-sway bar bushings, which have dried out -- AGAIN. About every 12-18 months, they need a lube. They drive me nuts going over speed bumps and up or down driveways. Other than that, they are quiet.
Only rattle I had, ever, was the hatch latch, which the stealer fixed years ago under warranty (it was a known '04 problem).

I noticed rattles in my 09 MCS almost from day one after taking delivery. I'm not going to waste my time going back to the dealer a dozen times for the multiple fixes. My plan is to pull panels and use nylon medical tape (used it before and someone on NAM did the same) to soften contact points and keep clips still. Hopefully, that will work.
You non rattlers are joking right? Rattle in dash over glove box, Rattle in passenger side door area, Rattle in passenger side rear lower side area, Rattle in rear back corner, Buzz in rear speaker, 22k miles.

99,500 miles and lots of rattles on my highly modded '05 MCS but they are all my fault. My fire extinguisher mount squeaks over bumps. My partially installed JCW CF dash squeaks cause I keep making changes to things that I don't want to screw them in. My Tach rattles cause of my prototype Valentine remote V1 mount. When I hold all these things down while driving, all I hear is tire noise or exhaust/header noise. Over smooth roads where the tire noise goes completely away, it's like putting on ear plugs---the overall noise is substantially reduced until I stomp the gas.
Until it gets down to below 10 degrees my 06 MCS with 33K miles is rattle free. I do sometimes get audio-system induced rattles when things in the door pockets or boot shake (I have a sub) and I am occasionally irritated by the sound of the seat belt rubbing over the guide in the B-pillar (nobody else can hear this so maybe I have super-human hearing)
27000 miles and I am getting farting sounds on my leatherette driver seat. I guess I've gotten bigger since I bought my MINI and EVERYTIME I move the seat makes a noise. This could be a product of my large A$$ instead of an actual MINI problem though.
