Too bad MINI never updated this for the second-gen cars. The cover illustration with the cat in the tree isn't going to make much sense to new owners.

 

I got one of these from a vending machine at the dealer once, along with every other piece of literature they had in there.

 

Ah yes - the "free vending machine". I can't remember the last time I was in a dealer whose machine was still stocked. Kind of sad, really - they either need to keep them stocked or discontinue the gimmick and remove the machines.

 

Got one of those when I picked up my car in '02, along with a ton of other stuff. All safely stored in a filing cabinet. One whole drawer dedicated to nothing but "MINI". It's my box of happy memories.

 

There's also one out there that's not exactly "family" rated.....
