R50/53 Oil problem?

Oil problem?

ok so the other week i pulled off my inercooler and their was a thin coat of oil in the piping and the inercooler what cases this? and how can i fix it?

It is normal and you can minimize it with an oil catch can. Or your can pull the intercooler and clean it on a regular basis.

Yep, it's normal in all cars to have the valve cover vent into the intake tract. The hot gasses are simply combusted. The intercooler on the MCS cools this gaseous oil vapor and it gets deposited, resulting in lower intercooler efficiency.

Use carb cleaner to wash the intercooler out, your car will seem peppier on hot days.
