I got this booklet "THE BOOK OF MOTORING" at the dealer and found that there are two new colors, the "Solid Gold" and "Candy Blue". I am pretty sure that they are the '03 color. I asked the dealer when the new colors will become available but they said they have no idea and not sure. Does anyone know??

 

I want to know why they've updated the model year and the pricing on the mini site but not the colors. If they're now offering the 2003 model, shouldn't the silk green be unavailable? Hmm?

 

perhaps they are in the process of doing that!

I myself just got an e-mail a day or so ago from my salesperson debra at the mini dealership about the 2003 changes...... so maybe they are just now going through the transition?! Give it a little more time! THEN check the site again! It's not like they can just snap their fingers and change the colors on the site! It takes alot of work to make the car change color when you click the corresponding color strip...... so just be patient and those Mini Web masters will have those color changes up in no time!

Heard somewhere on this forum awhile ago that silk-green was to be phased out by March 03 and will be replaced by Gold. Candy Blue I'd heard wasn't being produced - it was like a market test or something?
