Sparkplug Type?

I have 77.5k miles on my 2005 MC and I'm going to change out the sparkplugs, do I replaced with OEM NGK plugs or is the NGK iridium plugs better?

Also is there a specific process to changing out the plugs, I have changed out plugs before, but wanted to know if any special tools are required.

I used iridium plugs in my 04 S and had all kinds of problems with them. They burn too hot!! I replaced them with standard NGK's and the problem went away!!

Just go with the OE plugs. Playing with different plugs can end up costing $$$ that you won't see any improvement in and can occasionally cause problems. Granted, I've sold everything from copper Autolite's to $10 a piece iridium Bosch's and have had no come backs with either but in this case, err on the side of caution and go OEM.

Ditto

Although I am a bit on the radical side and use *AC Rapidfires I would always recommend the OEM plug and heat range. The exception if you are going to do proper plug readings to detirmine how the plug is reacting in the combution chamber. *Lots of trial and error.
