My daughter had her purse stolen at a swimming pool, and we had to cancel all the cards and stuff. We did not rekey her car (a brand new Honda Element) because the police said that car thieves don't steal keys unless they are taking the car right then and there. Sure enough, 1 year later, we received a box from the Virginia Department of Highways - they had found the purse in a drainage culvert. Everyhing was there except the cash. They took the $40 and tossed the purse. All that trouble we had to go through for $40!

Just a clue. Get a lanyard and when you go out carry just one car key and house key around your neck.

 

having quoted me $75.00 ,the dealer tried to pull a fast one and told me $125 when I went to pick it up.Not sure which one is right?!Get a quote IN WRITING.
