Rick-Anderson, ur picks remind me a lot of the Woodward Dream Cruise in detroit this past summer. as i was coming off the line at a stop light i saw a Classic Mini Cooper S in R/W with white bonnet stripes just like mine. we got along side each other waved, we stayed side by side with each other going up a hill and i could see spectators on the side of the road grabbing for the cameras as an old and new Mini drive by side by side:smile: . those are two pretty cars you've got there.

Thank you. The only drawback is that I can only drive one at a time!

I can't post side by sides YET, but I have a 1968 Moulton Mk 111 bicycle ,designed and built by Alex Moulton ,whose designs for the classic mini earned him knighthood(hydrolastic suspension) .The bike featurs full shocks front and rear and 16" wheels.http://www.alexmoulton.co.uk/

Hi all. I'm new to this site, so I thought I would show the members my four housemates:

Bruno the cat, Testagialla the '63 Mini, Bella the '05 MINI, and Puddlejumper the '67 Moke.

(Hope I can manage to put the pictures in!)

Well I don't have a picture of the two next to each other but I've got a '73 Volvo 1800ES along with my '03 MCS...

Robyn, that Volvo has always been a favorite of mine and yours is really sharp! Did you restore it or buy it that way? Beautiful car!

Gotta love that "Swedish Racing Green" color, too!

Thanks! I actually bought it that way but it's far from perfect. There are a couple areas on the body that need a little touching up and a few mechanical issues that we're working through. Nothing major, just some stuff that needs to be taken care of on a 30+ year old car. It's riding on what are probably it's original springs and the car currently sits about 2-3 inches lower than it should. Sounds nice to those who are into lowering their cars, but not when you scrape your brand new exhaust system on every little dip in the road. I'm driving a Swedish low-rider right now.
