I need new headlights and looking at ebay, everything is advertised as either 02-04 or 02-05.
I went on real OEM and it looks like they should fit an '06, too, which is what i have. do they? Thanks!

don't want to spend all that money to find out they dont fit!

 

call a mini dealership, ask for the service department.. then ask the parts manager...

 

From everything I've read on here, size wise they will fit but if you go from halogens to xenon's you'll need to add the wiring for the headlight washers, levelers and probably need to go to the dealer and have them tweak the software to accept the xenon's.....

 

nope, not going to xeons. just was wondering why all the ebay sellers have those dates when it seems that it's the same. thanks for the info!

 

eBay sellers are not experts, they look up model years and post them. all they know is that the headlight changed after 04. yes they will fit. the shape is the same, its just the inside/looks of the housing that is different. 02-06 are all the same size. 05-06 has a different look to them. and 02-08 Cabrios will fit the coupe models as well.
