Bought the lapis blue leather shift **** and gaiter as well as the lapis blue leather handbrake set last week. Installed it last night. When I got up this morning the interior had that wonderful aroma of leather, just like when my MINI was new. Worth every penny just for the smell. Anyone else done the switch?

Not yet, but I love things wrapped in leather.

Sounds cool MGCMAN!
Nope, I haven't done the switch but was considering it for a while.
Coudl you post some pics?|

Instead, I've done some interior trim repaintings:
all my silver trim is no longer:
door panel Y-braces, tach trim ring, shifter trim ring and the cupholder / ashtray trim is all a dark anthracite now.
The Speedo trim and dash vent trim rings are now the exterior electric blue, so now I'm thinking more lapis leather would be too much, and will probably stick to what I currently have.

Will post some pics soon.

M.

Markus,

I'd luv to comply, but I must be the only one on the planet w/o a digital camera. I'll have to track down someone I know with one and then, let the fireworks begin. The chrome trim together with all that Lapis leather, I never wanna stop driving!
