Yep. The toggle switch panel is the same whether LHD or RHD.

So you are an ex-Floridian eh? Do you miss it?

I have looked at a couple, and I have a question about where the window switches and all are, there is an empty slot on the ones i have looked at, its the 4 one over, has the window, dsc, lock, blank, fog and window.

Whats the blank for?

Yes you can. I think the dealer needs to re-program the BCM to enable it and likely install the necessary hardware to support the rear fog lights. What year is your MINI? Rear fog lights became a factory installed option in the 2005 model year.

only 2005s with build dates of October 2004 and later can be retrofitted with the rear fog, I was told by my dealer. something to do with an incompatibility issue regarding the harness and the wiring leading to the rear, where the BU lite had existed before, and programming the thing to work.

there were a lot of holdovers from the 2002-2004 models in the first three months of 2005 production, july, august, and sept 2004. I could not even add the rfg as an OEM option when I configured and ordered my 2005 S in late june 2004.

stick with October 2004 builds and later and it should not be an issue

I got the rear fog light from factory. My R53 S is a February 2005 build.

Look at the placard on the driver's side door jamb to find your build date.
