R50/53 Tire replacement costs
I'm trying to decide whether to go for the 17" runflats or stay with the standard 16" runflats on the MC-S I've ordered.
My first impression is 17", but I've got a question. How long do the tires last and what is the replacement costs for the 17"ers.

I wasn't going to get the 17" wheels and tires, wish I had found this board before ordering. Anyway, I have 17 inchers. They are fine, but the 16 inchers would have been lighter and a more comfortable ride. As far as replacement cost, it was pointed out to me when making my decision that run-flats will be expensive regardless of whether they are 16" or 17".
To do it over again I'd get 16" wheels with an all-season performance tire and run with a mini-compressor and a can of fix-a-flat.
