Picked up my baby (LOL) today In the glove box there was no owners manuel . any one know of web site i can copy one, and which service manuel is the best for a rookie , my google led me to one published by bentley for 75.00 is that a good one .

 

I know I have seen one online. Check the "Newbie Tech Question" thread in this forum. I think someone posted a link there, and a mention of a manual.

They do. Join the Owners Lounge and you can access the whole manual from there.

 

Go to MiniUSA and register in the Owner's Lounge, then you'll be able to download the owner's manual in PDF format. As for the service manual, I believe the Bentley Publishers is the most common : there is an edition which covers MYs 2002-2004, which you might be able to find used for cheap (I got it on Craigslist...).

I have a Bentley Manual for 2002-2004 MINIs I would be willing to let go for $40.00; Looks as good as new.

When I bought my 2006 MCS it was the only one available at the time. I have since bought the 2002-2006 MINI Bentley manual. PM me if you are interested in it.
