Union Jack Boot Box fitment???

Has anyone tried to fit this boot box in a 2002-2005 MINI S?

The ad indicates it's for a 2007+ MINI. Is the boot that much different in the 1st generation and 2nd generation MINIs?

I'm kind of wondering this too. I really need a flat loading surface...are there any options beside me making a custom boot box?

I had the same problem but found no solution. So I designed a custom boot box and a very skilled friend built it. I then screwed it up by trying to paint it
