It was originally Sept. 26 and now it is Sept. 12. I am in Salt Lake City and I figure that I should see it about Oct. 10th or so, is this accurate?

Next, I recently asked about wy my options were not showing up when I was trying to track my car, but the colors are right. People said wait 36 hours and they should be there. It has been 72 hours and they are not there yet. I talked to the dealer and he said that it is not a problem and that he will watch the car to make sure they get everything on it. Should I believe him? I don't want the wrong car coming. Anybody have experiece with getting the wrong car?

Also, is there a day that people prefer their Mini to be built on? My Mini is currently on a Friday, I am sure this is fine and that I am looking into it way too much, but I want my Mini to be as perfect as possible.

Thanks in advance and I apologize for al the questions.

All MINI's are "projected' with a Friday build date, just means yours will be built that week. In regards to the options, your dealer will take care of you, the on-line tracking system tends to be at least a week behind what is actually going on. See the FAQ regarding "tracking your MINI"

Cheers!

There is a great FAQ at http://www.mini2.com which includes a section on tracking your MINI both through MINIUSA.com as well as other tracking sites.

Have your specs reset to normal yet? When my order jumped from "on order" to "scheduled for production" the specs on it jumped too but as I recall they were back to normal with 36 hours or so. This was late June so it's a fairly recent event for me, too.

I would not trust what the dealer says regarding the issue of parts not showing up on your build report. I am not saying that your dealer is not to be trusted, I just don't think the dealer has any control over the situation after the order has been entered. I had the same problem and never received the Multi-Function Steering Wheel that I ordered and was on my original order form written up by the dealership. Now Mini wants to charge me $1,800 for the thing! They haven't heard the last from me yet.
Go directly to Mini, don't wait anymore and yell as loud as you can
