Mini USA estimates a production date of 9/5/2003. I have not yet decided if I want heated seats though. When do I need to have made my decidion? Will my salesman call me soon to confirm all my specs anyway?

Thanks!

Two words of advise: Be Proactive.

Don't count on your MA to confirm specs prior to production, too many things could happen from the simple "I forgot" to a catastrophic health problem. If you know that you want the heated seats, call your MA now and change your specs. I believe that specs can be changed up until the production date (remember UK is GMT, not US time (5 to 11 hrs. behind GMT). Try to leave at least a week between your last "change order" request and the production date. Also try to be sure of your changes, remember it IS a major undertaking to build a car, and source all the relevant components. Being proactive will make your job and MINI's job easier for all involve.
