R50/53 Tracking across the Atlantic

FYI...to anyone tracking their Mini to the US via Wallenius Wilhelmsen ship: Do not enter your entire vin number in the space provided. Use only the last seven digets. I finally figured this out after my Mini sailed off to New York. Whatever! :smile:

First of all, this is a very old (2002) initial post. The rules have changed on the site--you now need to enter the entire VIN. Look at the Waiting for September thread.
The AccuWeather site does not seem to work. It was providing the precise location using the ship's call letters. The change is also addressed in the Waiting for September thread (under MINI Talk).
