hi all,
this is my first post.. hooray...
here is an introduction of myself...
i'm 17yrs old,
immigrant in New Zealand.
currently studying in college.

ever since i migrated over to New Zealand, i was facinated by the cars on the road. especially MCS. but i'm only 17 yrs old, and all i can do is to wait till i get older and able to buy a car on my own. So in the mean time, i'm trying to save up some money to buy a MCS. haha, wonder how long does it take me to save up to buy one brand new MCS. all i can do now is to dream about my future MCS and do some readings on it. especially modding it and pampering my future MCS. hope to learn more from you guys. read alot of post over here and i would like to say that i find the people here generally friendly...

cheers all.

Welcome nonons,

Maybe you can save up a buy a used classic Mini first ...

But either way, keep your eyes on the prize, you'll get there.

So young, and with such good taste, that bodes well for your future

Chow!

Welcome,

Imported Kiwi, huh? The MCS is a great ride, you have taste kid. That said, I'd truly recommend that you purchase something used as a first car though. In order to improve your driving skills, as the MCS is a very fast ride for a neophite driver. NZ should have a good availablity of great learner cars, MG Midgets, original Minis, and various and sundry Japanese autos. Practice and develop your skills on one of these, and in no time you'll be ready for the MCS.

North island or South?

haha, yes, its a nice place to live in. but i believe most of the places in auckland had been converted into a concrete jungle.
go to the south island, the scenery there is really gorgeous.

Welcome

I'm 18 and getting my S soon. By the time you get you job and have the money you should be set up to get an S after the deal with chrysler is over, meaning another engine, be it peugot or bmw or whatever, should be nice. Study hard and you'll get there!
