Low mileage oil change.

Just a friendly reminder...

If it's been one year since your dealer changed the oil and you're still inside the 3 year 36,000 mile period, you're due for a oil change. And this is regardless of what your service indicator says. Mine still reads 10,700~ miles to go. My dealer did not reset the indicator, all they did was changed the oil.

I know, I should get out more often .

That's still good info...I'm not going to be anywhere near the service interval come July, when it will be 1 year since my last (and only) oil change.

one oil change by the dealership at 10,000 miles, and they torqued the drain plug down to about 50 ft/pounds into the aluminum oil pan!!!! FYI - should only be 18 ft/pounds...

Watch out !!

I took my 03 MC to the dealer for an oil change once a year even though the mileage was waaay below the oil change indicator mileage. They changed the oil and filter, replaced the wiper blades each year and fixed any recall items or even items they noticed that needed fixing that I had not noticed. They upgraded the ECU software a couple of times....in short, they carefully checked out my MINI and I was very pleased with their service....Roadshow, Memphis, TN.
