i too have some "not so OEM hella's" and i have always had them wired to my day lights, so they're on with the day (driving lights?) lights, the fog setting, they go off with the low beams and then on again with the high beams.

i had no idea that wiring into a hot wire could mess with the car's compu. perhaps that is why my airbags are constantly disengaged? or atleast why the airbag light comes on most of the time at start up?

seperate comment/question... i wouldn't have bought the chrome hella fogs if they weren't sexy looking. i drive a 2002 r50, so i don't have the more aggressive look of the mcs. in the daytime, i feel like i get the look i desire. but at night, i wish my fogs could run with my low beams, to give me a more aggressive front end.

i might try this for a day or two to see if i get a poor response from on coming traffic. i do not want to blind other drivers and there are potholes everywhere in nyc, so i would keep them aimed very low. would that mess with the cars computer even more than i already have?
