Hi all, im new to all this, but are there any non-carbon fiber front splitters out there? i really would like to get one and paint it, but hate to spend the money on a carbon one just to paint it. i really like the M7. Any suggestions?

 

Bavarian Autosport has one that's not carbon fiber and I think costs around $200. I know there is another non carbon fiber splitter out there but I don't know the manufacturer.

 

Hmmm...why not make one out of toothpicks and cranberry jelly?

 

You can cut one out of ABS plastic. Trace of an existing splitter or create your own on a sheet of cardboard and use a band saw to cut the templet. Its easy and will cost you no more then $100. Here's one i did last year on my Miata:

That's pretty sweet looking & would look hot on your car Jim. If I didn't already have the Hamann splitter, I'd probably do something like this. I didn't see a price listed for the VIS part - do you know the cost?

I had one from DUZ in Japan on my R56 JCW and probably will sell it because I have a new car. It is very unique if anyone is interested. Cost me $500 new and has a few scratches. Here's a photo -
