The September issue of Maxim, us guys' favorite magazine, has a three-page review of our beloved MINI. It was a quite positive review too, although the picture captions are predictably tongue-in-cheek making fun of the MINI's size. Some of the pictures are of the MINI prototypes, but they also have a computer-generated picture of a MINI pickup. Whether this was generated by BMW or Maxim is uncertain, but it alludes to things to come. In my opinion, it's one of the more fun articles on MINI to be printed in recent months.

On another Maxim note, I was rather disappointed that there was no MINI advertising insert this month. For those of you that don't subscribe, the last two months had subscription-only MINI ads featuring a sticker sheet to customize your own MINI and the infamous vomit bag ad. I guess this month, the review is all the advertising MINI needs.

Hey there! I actually spread the same news around a few days ago! I even went and transcribed the entire article on the mini2.com forums....... you can read it here!:D

And they've actually got two pictures of that computer generated Mini Pickup posted in their gallery! You can see those two pictures here:

They are on the bottom of the page i believe?!

I too was disappointed that there was no mini cooper ads in this months issue! oh well! maybe next month!
