Yesterday's WSJ had a good article on cars that some folks are paying a premium to obtain. Of course, the Mini was listed with a $1200 premium along with the comment "the most style for the buck."

This is the one that surprises me... however, Mazda dealers aren't known for their flexibility either.

Cool little car..I just can't believe it doesn't make more power for a turbo 2.0 L.

 

Some one explain why MB CLK 320 is only $800? I thought it would be $8000!

Doesn't it make more sense that the numbers would be larger for more expensive cars, with the proportionality and all?

The Boxster number seems low, too.

Given the MINI's qualities, world class style and engineering and excellent resale values, paying MSRP for them is still an absolute bargain. The MINI is not only the most style for the buck but a lot of more than that.
