AARP

And all this time I thought it was mostly just a bunch of young whippersnappers on this forum! AARP needs to start a Mini club!

61 here and just clocked 3800 miles on the Tour du Nord from PA to St. John's, Newfoundland and back. Now I'm waiting for the weather to break to get the Katana out of storage.

My Dad is 83 and has a 06 MCS.

Me ... I think, I am as old as I act and feel when I am driving my MINI ...

Now 55,....and have recently purchased an '05 MC.....I guess I was 18 when I was driving back and forth to college, though, in my '61 Austin 850.
Also, have owned a 1980 Mini 1100 since 2001.

I turned 74 on Thur. and got my first MINI in 2004, a 04MC. I traded a year later for a 06MCS and haven't regreted one minute. I also have a older Corvette,81, that I've only put 3000 miles on since I got the first MINI. Every time I take the MINI out of the garage I hear a big sigh coming from the vette. The MINI is just sooo much more fun to drive!!

Its a pickup is my regular reponce. Then I ask them haven't you ever seen a pickup before? So far I haven't got beat up for my smartass remark. It's a 1963 Austin mini pickup. I had to take a 2600 mile trip to pick it up last year in Penn. It has a 1275 motor. It really gets more attention now than the 2003 MINI.

You've got three cars in a two-car garage.
That pickup is about the size of a golf cart.

age is a number

I'm a 50 yr old female who absolutely loves my 06 Cooper. When people ask if the purchase was a middle age crisis. I say "No crisis here, just loads of fun for someone that took tell middle age to get one".
