Hey Jeanna,

It was fun! Check out the SoCal regional forum and gallery. There are some good pics in there. It was great to see the old and new together in harmony. Saw some familiar faces there from the HB meet, which is always good. It looks like our next big meet will be the October 6th Santa Paula Airport meet, unless anyone has plans for a September meet? Once we get a regional site going for us it will be easier to keep track of things and plan meets. I want to plan a big meet for a drive up the coast to Santa Barbara in November. We'll keep everyone posted.

I had a great time at the event. I will be posting some pictures to the Gallery when I have some time. I also saw a few things that I would like to do to my MCS that I saw on the originals. Trying to figure out how I want to proceed if I want to go for some of the changes that would reflect the original with the new.

Oh, it was interesting to hear some of the conversations from the Original Owners taliking about the new MINI. They consider them BMW's and had some interesting things to say about them. Couldn't tell if they like them or hate them.

Oh, the MOKE was cool as is the MINI Wagon's. Found out that my brother's neighbor has Clint Eastwoods MINI Wagon doing some work for him. Can you imagine Clint Eastwood in and Original MINI wagon?
