R50/53 What Does EP mean

I've search with very little luck. It shows up on my dash were in normally would say D (for Drive).

I can only think of Electric Problem but everything seems to work?

Any ideas? Thanks.

This is failsafe mode for the CVT. Something is most likely wrong with your wiring harness. Take it to your dealer asap.

Don't laugh but I buy cars and drive real fast without knowing much about them :smile:

Is the wiring harness where all the wire go to the fuses (that area). Or something in the engine area?

I ask because I got into a fender bender and I was going to take the car in next Monday.

Its in the engine bay, but this is a common problem, I doubt it has to do with your accident.
