O.K. -- Since I started this thread, I thought I'd report back with the results so far. There were about 44 responses (some people didn't provide all the data). I tabulated all the respones so far and here is what I come up with:

Male - 76% (Whew, I don't have to worry about the MINI being a chick car)
Female - 24%

Married - 56%
Single - 44% (Pretty even split here)

No children - 69% (Wow, I guess we thats because MINI owners spend more time motoring and less time parking?)

Of the 31% that do have kids, the average was 2.14 children per family

Age breakdown:

Average age is 36 (Hey, that's how old I am)
Mean age is 43.5 (That's the halfway point between the youngest owner and the oldest owner)
Median age is about 35 (Half the respondents are older than 35, half are younger)

I forgot to mention I don't have kids either (I got puppets!).

Regarding your comment about parking. Really, can you even visualize a MINI at Lover's Lane? Ha! Ha!

It's like the "safe sex" car of cars!

(Can I say that here or will the censors get me?)

PS:I had to edit this. I wrote "sensors" and not "censors". I'm so used to the word sensor in my life. Habits..habits... And I didn't want the Spelling/Grammar Police on my case!

I am so relieved that you have not kids, you would never be able to afford a Mini.

 

45 year old male. Married for 26 years - yes, 26 years. 2 children ages 18 (girl) and 14 (boy). The 14 year old will get the MINI when he's 16.5. I'll order myself a new MINI S! Gov,t worker also playing a lot of bass guitar in the Richmond, VA area.
