Before I bought my Mini, I had test driven 3 other Minis and on all of them I noticed the passenger door handle was dirtier than the driver's door handle. I wondered about this. Now having driven my Mini like it yearns to be driven I know why this is. We as drivers have a steering wheel to hang on to. Our passengers really only have one place to hold on to during those gravity defying maneuvers. They hold on to the door handle with their hands sweating white knuckled and trembling... Just as they should be. Now when I look at that door handle I crack a knowing smile.

Passenger door handles... the dirtier the better...

hey miniwolf - that's why these handles are called, "OH *****" handles - cuz your passenger grabs them an appropriately exclaims, "O.S!" during extreme driving measures.
