MINI Cooper: Toughest car!

Wrecked my first mini cooper s about 2 years ago (couple of roll overs after hitting a street lamp), walked out with couple of bruised ribs and 5 stiches on my head.

Holy Crap... How fast were you going when that street lamp jumped out in front of you??? Or was it this pole?

crackerjack: Got to ask: what prompted you to post this NOW? Seems sort of "out-of-the-blue".

Maybe the 5 stitches he got in his head went along with a prolonged 24 month long coma...

I worked a claim today where our claimant's vehicle was an '05 MCS and it was DEEEEEEEEEEEstroyed in the collision. It's an obvious total loss after being struck by our insured's large pick-up truck and then hitting an embankment and rolling two times.

The driver of the MCS had a couple contusions and some abrasions, maybe a minor muscle strain. But that's it.

Yep, tough little cars, these MINIs that we love so much.

And what interesting MINI accessories did you collect from the totaled MINI as evidence for your company??

I told her I happen to have an 05 MCS... same JB color, too.

Unfortunately, I never get near the vehicles I'm handling in a claim... I only get to see the photos.

I would have loved to show the photos of this particular MINI but that would be unethical and would also jeopardize my job. Trust me, not much left of it.
