>>We have a couple of MINIs in town, DS/B MSC and... the light blue MC (which i have yet to see). i practically got whiplash catching the VR/W MC while a friend and i were motorbiking through the Vermont Mts.

More than likely, that was me... I haven't seen any other VR/W MC in Vermont, and I do love those mountains... where were you? I live in Burlington and am frequently motoring about around Stowe and Waitsfield (App Gap / Middlebury Gap). btw, I go by "snid" on the other message boards... I'd change my username here, but the last time I checked, you couldn't.

As far as my New England MINI sightings go, other than the other ones that I always see parked in the same spots, I rarely see any. I did follow a chili red / white S out of the gas station across the street from my apartment. I thought it was odd that the owner didn't acknowlege that there was nother MINI parked at the gas station. It turns out, it was some employee of the used car dealer that was just taking it out to put gas in it.

Hmmm. i honestly couldn't tell you where we were exactly. i was on the back of the bike (HD Ultra) and just taking in all the greeness. There was a lot of riding those couple of days. We went from Bellows Falls and were up in the Burlington area some and Stowe i believe. i'm in MA and not at all familiar with the VT roads. My friend yelled, "MINI!" and zoom... there it went. i waved erratically for a moment then drifted off to a time far, far away when i'll have my own MINI to corner.... It was a highlight of the ride...

I pulled up beside this car on I495, south of Andover, today at @8:25AM:

FWIW it was going slow, pinned behind some truck at the moment. Goliath was winning.

last time i was at my apartment in RI within a two block vicinity there were 4 minis. mine, a dark silver/white, a dark silver/black, and an indi blue/white. but there are TONS of minis in RI. theres an indiblue/indi blue, pepper white/black, 2 electricblue/whites, silk green/black, chili red/white, brg/white, liquid yellow/black. and these are ones that i see all the time so i know they're not just passing through. its insane! i usually only see them parked but somestimes we pass each other and only the brg/white and one electric blue/white has waved. :???: what can you do.... though a lot of the time i see other minis when i am walking.
on my drive from RI to NY via the I-95 i usually see at least 4 or 5 on the opposite side.

mcs22004,

I saw that guy at Peabody getting a new rim/runflat, I'm not sure which. It came in on a flatbed though.

That's too MINI, monsters.

The MINI is still somewhat an oddity on my stomping grounds between northern metro-west Boston and southern NH along I495. Of course, the car I saw belonged to duckboy74 though he wouldn't have a clue who I am.

lmao

He has 17" S-Lites, so I doubt he hurt his rim. So much for not getting stranded with the runflats.

This morning he had the driver's side window down, so maybe his AC was broken, too.

I was on the road at the same time this morning but did not see "Goliath Lost". Maybe he broke down again.

A BRG/W Cooper passed me, sunroof open in the rain. It was on I495 somewhere near Lawrence. I've seen that car before.

Yeah, must be a Providence thing... -- but maybe not.

Any one in New Hampshire please keep an eye out for my vr/b mini. My mom has it for the week and last time she took it out, some guys in a truck were laughing and pointing at her!!!!!!!

ANd by the way the last couple of times that I've been up there, and through Boston, I've seen two BRG/W, a LY/B, PS/B IB/W, CR/B, SG/B, EB/W and another VR/B! They're crazy up there! I don't ever see that many in NY, but then I don't really drive on a regular basis here either.

I live on the southern border of Exeter and I'm in Stratham and Portsmouth all the time. I'll keep an eye out for Mom!

Unfortunately, idiots in trucks are very common around here...

i'm being a reclouse and bored silly. So, i'll report my excitment over seeing three MINIs in Cambridge, MA last Monday.

And here is the story. Had an acquaintence with me and i was just trying to explain what a MINI was when i noticed a car ahead of me was a Silver/B... i pointed and kinda yelled, "there's one!" then as i glanced at him to make sure he was looking at it, parked right next to me was a Blk/Blk, and i believe it had some bonnett stripes.... theeeeeeen... at the end of the night i saw a yellow/w in a parking lot by the Falafel Palace... mmmmh. falafel.

It was muchly exciting. Though, i'm not looking forward to 'Boston driving' when i finally get ITYBTY.....

Although I now live in Michigan, I spent much of my childhood on Allen St., in Exeter. I will be visiting my Mom (who now lives in Rochester) next week, and I always like to visit Exeter during these trips.

So, if you see a CR/W S with white wheels/stripes..... it's probably me. I'll be on the lookout for the VR/B....

I'm really looking forward to the drive through NE NY, Vermont and NH!!!!!! Always take the two lanes rather than the Mass Pike.... Lot's of twisties!

The best sighting I've had was on Rte 106 in Loudon, NH during Winston Cup weekend there. I cant remember the color, but the NH plate was terrific...

I drive M-F for a living doing deliveries and I'm always on the lookout for MINIs. I live in NH but my route takes me from Chelmsford to Marlboro area and Rt. 20 to Weston and Rt. 128.

Typically, I see a BRG MC in Marlboro at a restaurant on Rt. 20 just south of the Halfway Cafe. I also see a very nice IB MCS in Berlin at a house near a tractor equipment business. I've seen several on Rt. 128N heading toward Rt. 3 but that isn't surprising given the proxiimity of MINI of Peabody.

In Manchester, NH where I live I've seen a CR MC, a IB MC and a BRG MCS. I am seeing more of them than I used to but still not that many.

Every time I see one though I feel like this:

I could be mistaken, but I believe I saw this car in the Brentwood, NH area on Rte. 125 the day I got my MINI. I was driving south, and it was traveling north.

I spotted a Laser Blue / White MINI on my way to work today in Westford, MA. It was parked in a driveway. I usually spot a few more than that a day on the road.

Can anyone say revived thread?
