With only 2 months and 3,000, I’ve had it. New buzzes and rattles cropping up on a regular basis, radio display not working properly, windshield molding “blowing” off twice and a first gear stumble that in my opinion is much more than a mere stumble, the car literally won’t even get out of its own way. Life is too short to put up with this sub-par car and sub-par dealer network of only 70 dealers nationwide and the subsequent day long 235 mile round trip service visit. I’m going down tomorrow and order a ’04 BMW M3.

jerrygee-
Sorry to hear about all this for you. I find that many of the buzzes and rattles are dependent on some of the roads I drive on. I will be changing to non runflat tires and that will be helpful to smooth out those vibrations. When I drive on smooth roads I don't hear anything at all-even with runflats.
Radio display- might need to be checked by the dealer. Sorry to hear that your dealer isn't very close. Here is Hawaii we have one dealer and those who live on outer islands like the Big Island (with the active volcanoes) must ship the car to the Honolulu dealer for service. Takes about 2 weeks round trip via barge and about 300 miles.
Windshield molding-has been reported to come loose in the MC and MCS. I never had that happen.
First gear stumble-Never had that problem, mine works like a gem so far.
03 MCS with 4400 miles and counting
Good luck no matter what you decide to do

Sorry to hear your disappointment! Hope the M3 makes you happier... they're good cars. Just don't get it in a pull-me-over colour, like yellow or turquoise (though they l ook great in both... ah well).
