Better sway bars, better tires, M7 reinforcement bars and frames.

I hear adding stripes makes it handle better too. Or does that just add HP?

stripes... hahahah!

the single most beneficial upgrade would be tires, especially if you just have the stock run flats. High performance, low-profile, ultra-soft compound summer tires will be a vast improvement in handling and steering response. Larger, wider, lighter wheels go hand in hand with this upgrade. The next step would be suspension upgrades. If you go this route I recommend replacing everything, i.e. springs, struts, shocks, and sway bars at once with a system designed to work together for the best result. The factory JCW kits are well regarded, although more expensive than aftermarket, and wont mess with the factory warranty. Be ready for a stiff ride to go along with the amazing handling if you redo the suspension though!
