Sad, but kind of funny?

That just sucks. Poor little CR, someone is heartbroken or should be.

I feel for this poor soul...what a bad stroke of luck! Couldn't have been more of a direct hit. Right down the centerline. He/she probably just finished detailing it too.

We've had those storms in this area all week too. Thank goodness for the peace of mind that comes with a garage.

I'm workin' real hard to find the humorous part here...it just isn't coming to me...

sorry, not that amused.. Lots of trees down across roads, powerlines and cars yesterday, and lots of damage. It was a tough commute home.

Car vs tree

I have seen plenty of pics of trees on cars and to me it looks like the MINI took a beating and will keep on ticking.. I think the pic shows just how strong the little fellas/gals are!!!!!

First think I saw in the paper this morning...very sad...hope you Chicago motorers are doing ok. We had some nasty weather like that a while back but the trees were much nicer. They fell in front of and behind the car...left the car totally intact. I have to say, I think she held up pretty well for a tree that size.

Here's another view:

I live in Chicago and a tree fell on mine. Thankfully, it's still drivable. Just some denting on the roof and spoiler. The dealership's body shop is so backed up from storm damage that I can't make an appointment until after Labor Day.

That was the craziest storm I remember ever seeing. My neighborhood looks like a war zone.

Yeah, it's really bizarre the number of trees just snapped in half.
