>>How did you find out? My Owner's lounge still says "On Order."

>>Maybe I'll ask my dealer, I'm calling today to change to BRG/White. I hadn't seen BRG in person until this weekend, and I love it! Of course, I think I'll have to change my screen name, eh?

Click on "order tracking" and there will be a series of steps down the left side of the screen. Find "review order detail" and tghe estimated production date is the 4th item down.

My dealer said delivery should be mid August, MINIUSA has order # and estimated production date of 7/4/2003. That's right folks the 4th of July, of course we all know why we celebrate the 4th. Wahoo!

I ordered mine on 6/7 and got a production number on 6/9 for an estimated production date of 7/25, but the production date has already changed to 7/11.

Well, I checked the Owner's Lounge Again, and it still says "On Order" and the detail page doesn't show a date either. It does, however, have all of my spec changes I made Monday.

Dealer still says it is a week 27 build, though. Maybe it will change next week.

So I could be right at the end of July if it gets on a boat quickly.

You know I had a date. Went from 7/25 to 7/18 and now it's disappeared. Hopefully it's getting ready to move up again.

My date disappeared as well the other day. Being worried and all I called 866-ASK-MINI. They said it is confirmed for week 28 (7/11) production. I think the Owner's Lounge is messed up as other people are reporting that their dates disappeared.

I thought about calling ask-Mini but I didn't have the courage to admit that in my daily estimated production date check that my date disappeared. Are we there yet?

I called MINI USA as well about the missing estimated production date and they said that they had requested it be removed from the web site because it was confusing to people. As the status changes it will be updated on the site. They said to call any time to get up-to-date info 1-866-ASK-MINI.

I called yesterday and it's back up today. This is becoming amusing.

So what is the breakdown in MC/MCS people in the August Club?

I have an indi blue/white MCS with premium, winter and the xenon and fogs. I dropped the sports package since everyone seems to turn their dsc off as soon as they get in the car and I wanted the lighter 16" wheels. Ordered through Mini of Sterling coming into Bayonne, NJ.

Now I have a date, looks like my car will be born on the Fourth of July! I wonder how long from then until I'll have it.

So now I'm a little (tiny bit) worried. My car will be built on a Friday, which is "supposedly" bad, AND on the Fourth of July, in England! I hope none of the workers are still bitter about that whole revolutionary war thing. I'd hate to find a few loose screws in my car, since they'll know it is going "over to the colonies"

It is my understanding that the estimated production date is always on a friday. It means that your MINI is scheduled for production for the week ending on Friday July 4th (or the 27th week). My EPD is Friday 7/11 (or the 28th week).

So it is possible that your MINI could be born any day of the week.

Cool. Here's hoping for a Tuesday build. Not Monday, when everyone hates to be back, not Friday, where they're contemplating the weekend, but just a good, boring, Tuesday.

So, how long until it gets to NC from Oxford?

It's been so miserable here in the Mid-Atlantic that I totally glazed over the fact that I'm within a month of my build date. I guess most of the people in here are by now. How many times are a week are you checking the owner's lounge? When I get inside the build week, I might make it my start-up page.

It is an interesting board. Not as easy to navigate as this, but I like it.

I have to admit that all of the problem talk makes me a little paranoid. Maybe July will be a banner month.

Just put down my 1k deposit on my mini. Chili red, black roof, black bumper inserts, sunroof, hk system, dsc, cvt and foglights. Should be a blast. Each moment is filled with anticipation.

I've read that people are getting production numbers to check the status of their mini. How do I go about getting one?

The dealer will give a production number when they put your order in to Mini. If there's a waiting list, they might not put the order in immediately. Once MINI has the order, they give the dealer a production number which you can check at the miniusa.com owner's lounge or on the 866-ask-mini line. First thing you need to do is call your dealer and find out if the order has been put in yet and get the production number. Then you can follow the whole process.

Its begun!

My car went through paint on June 28th (painted on a Saturday...good thing the robots don't get weekends off!)

866-ask-mini still says scheduled for July 4 production.

There are boats leaving Southampton July 7 and 8, it would be great to get on one of those. The July 7 boat hits Charleston on July 19!!!

That would give me a chance to get it before the end of July!

More likely, I'm still looking at the first week of August.

My production date is July 18th.. (A FRIDAY ARRGGHH) LOL Good thing the plant doesn't have the weekend off eh? Who wants a Friday Afternoon special?!

I ordered an Electric Blue MCS/white roof/space cloth interior with dark door casings/Sport package, Cold weather package, and everything in the premium package group except the sunroof, and the H/K stereo. My dealer is telling me I'll see it in mid to late August. Can't wait!!

I've had a hard time not spending money on parts just yet.. however I am spending a mint preparing a proper home for my MCS.. I bought a shed for the backyard to get all the lawn crap outta my garage, and have been busy getting the garage cleaned out. I intend to insulate the garage, sheet rock it, add AC and heat.. proper lighting, a nice workbench, storage for tools and detail items..and for the floor...check out http://www.racedeck.com My floor will be a british flag!!!

Cheer up. I'm on the same date. Everyone is given a Friday for the estimate and it should be taken that it will be done that week - the 14th thru 18th. They could always move up too.

WooHoo! Just checked the MINIUsa Site, and I have a VIN number along with a status change to "scheduled for production." Very exciting.
