I'm on Moss MINI's mailing list for catalogues and emails. I just recieved an email where I saw a news announcement of a remote device that allows MINI owners to operate their cars with the remote from up to 150ft away. Anyone hear of this? Not sure if it's been posted yet before. Anyone have any additional info on it? How would it work on a standard tranny car? This is too cool.

I haven't heard about this but it sounds like either a joke or an outrageous rumor.
Cool as it would be to have a James Bond-style MINI, can you imagine how insanely dangerous this would be?
There's just no imaginable way that this could be legal!

I have a feeling this might refer to operating things like the windows, doors, A/C, etc..
