Window Tinting in CT or Westchester, NY ....

Does anyone have any recommendations on where to get windows tinted in CT? In all of my searching I have only found one shop, in Bridgeport ...and I've heard only bad things about them. So, I need alternatives, but can't find any. I am near Westchester County, NY, so I could go there as well.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I live across the country from you, but experienced the same thing...only one shop, with a not so good reputation. My solution was to call several dealerships and bodyshops around. The funny thing is, all the high end places with the primo cars and sparkling reputations, all had the same guys number. Hes been doing it forever, is a total perfectionist, and is even cheaper than the shop with the bad rep. You might want to give it a try! Best of luck to you.

Thanks.

With window tinting being such a common thing I found it hard to believe I couldn't find any shops to help me. True, this is not Texas or Nevada ...but it still gets plenty hot out here in CT ...and I want to look cool as well as not be hot.

Does any body have any experience with Sam's in Westchester? Their gallery shows a lot of mega-buck cars, which might be a good sign.

When I got mine done (very recently) I got 20%. Its totally awesome. Not too dark, not too light, and totally legal (in Id anyway). The guy did an outstanding job. First time I have ever had windows tinted where the removal or manipulation of the door panels was not needed. Make sure when you get them done, you mention that the door glass goes down when the doors are open. All my guy did was trip the latch on the door to bring the glass up all the way...no clear glass, no seam showing...looks factory!
