Hello out there......Can someone tell me how to take the back seat tops out of a convertible?

We are trying to load up for tomorrow and we need the extra space for the canopy.....HELP

 

on the hatch back, there is a 10mm bolt that is at the bottom in between the two seats, seen from the rear hatch looking forward.

undo this bolt, and the top of the metal thing the bolt was screwed into will slide forward, and then, you can pull the left seat top gently to the center, WHILE HOLDING THE SEAT BACK AT A 45 degree ANGLE., the right side comes out the same way. the bottom is easy just two clips in front on the outer edges, and 4 clips at the back of the seat bottom.

Don't know if this is valid for the convertibles or not...

Thanks...... We kinda gave up right now....We're tired, we've got the chairs and the table in and I'm afraid the canopy will be staying home this time. But we're going to try this for the next time. I appreciate your help!

I just got done putting the 10x10 Easy-Up in our convertible. With the rear seats folded down, and holding your mouth just right, it did fit. Got the Easy-Up, 2 chairs (bought 2 Kermit Chairs at MOTD - easy fit), cooler and misc. junk in. See you tomorrow.
