Well, I came up with an interesting route for our "Discover Pittsburgh" tour, but haven't been able to get my act together to “work out the bugs”. So the next weekend being Memorial Day, the official May event will now occur on Saturday morning, June 4. Here are the details. (An official notice will be arriving soon in the mail.)

• WHAT: Discover Pittsburgh Tour
• WHEN: Saturday, June 4, 2005 - 9:30 AM
• START: Meet on Art Rooney Ave. on the east side of Heinz field
• FINISH: Lunch (and Prizes?) at location yet to be determined
• COST: Purchase your own lunch

DETAILS: This drive visits many historic neighborhoods in Pittsburgh. Total driving distance is about 40-50 miles. Along the way you will join in a friendly competition to identify some of the many historic and not-so-historic sights on the route. Participants will be provided a map and directions. You can do the drive alone or team up with other MINI drivers.
