What: A Poker Run, a rally type driving event held on public roads. You and your navigator will follow a set of directions from the starting point to the end point[/font]

Where: We will meet in a strip mall parking lot at the junction of Route 22 and Route 981 in New Alexandria, PA

When: April 24th, we will meet at 1:00pm with the first car leaving at 1:30 pm
Cost: No charge for current members, $10 for non-members

DIRECTIONS

New Alexandria is located approximately 20 miles east of the Monroeville turnpike exchange on US Route 22. For the best route from your particular location you will need to consult a map.

WHAT IS IT

A Poker Run is a road rally type event, Each entry gets a set of written instructions to follow, these will lead you through a series of public roads to a predetermined end point. Although one person can do this a navigator is highly recommended. There will be check points along the route, at each check point you will receive a playing card, at the end of the rally the best poker hand wins. Note: there will be questions to answer based on things that can be observed along the route, successfully answering these questions will get you additional playing cards.

THINGS TO REMEMBER

There are gas stations, fast food establishments, and rest rooms at the starting point. There are no facilities along the route. We will end at a restaurant where we can get a light meal and discuss the rally.
