PittStopMINI’s GyMINIkhana 2012 & MINI of Pittsburgh’s Motor-Tober

GyMINIkhana? What's THAT? A traditional "gymkhana" is a fun, automotive "athletic" event involving driving cars through a set, fun course for times and prizes. PittStop MINI's signature GyMINIkhana event (our 6th annual!) takes that to a whole new level, and one that's even more fun, safer, and won't wear on your car! This is a day FULL of vehicle and driver dynamics training - with style. Have you ever slalomed your MINI? Learned what it (and you) can do in a safe environment, with professional Motoring Instructors helping you learn Vehicle Dynamics? And (optional),would you like to test your skills against the clock on a timed autocross? Learn to drive FUN - and celebrate Motor-tober with your MINI friends!
Motor-Tober 2012? That’s MINI of Pittsburgh’s“World’s Best Test Drive, Period”, where MINI of Pittsburgh comes out to play with PittSTOP, allowing you to drive the new models and show off to your friends (Note: This is not a pressure-sales event, but a PittStop MINI Motoring event! But, if you have friends who are interested in MINI’s, bring ‘em!! They can see how much fun we have!)
Where: PIRC Motorsports Complex, Wampum, PA (north of PA Turnpike Exit 13)
When: Sunday, October 14 starting at 8am. Club-only time is 8AM - 11AM, then Mini of Pittsburgh is ALSO hosting "Motor-Tober 2012", their World’s Best Test Drive, which extends our joint event until 4PM! (And our Steelers play on Thursday Oct 11, leaving our weekend free for MINI events!)
Also included is breakfast (donuts/coffee) and lunch.

- Is this for Expert Drivers only? DEFINITELY NOT! This is an “educational” event as much as a “fun” one.
I can’t emphasize this enough: We encourage ALL levels of Motorers to sign up. All feedback we’ve received from all levels of Motorer indicate we all can learn something, and this is a GREAT non-judgmental environment to do it!
- Do I need to drive a Mini at the event? Well,no, but if you don’t you’re missing some of the fun!
- Will this wear on my car? Yes, but only as far as YOU push it. We will not be exceeding highway speeds, and your vehicle wear items will only be affected by YOU doing the driving.
- $10/driver? That’s ludicrously low! Yes, it is. This event should cost $150-200, but Mini of Pittsburgh is once again generously sponsoring this event so our Member cost is$10/head!
