Hey Mark, My name is Jim, and was wondering if you knew anything about a 2005 mini cooper S that won't get thru DEQ because when they plug in to my car, and it reads that the VIN# coming from the ECU OBD port does not match the VIN of the car, and my title. Oregon DMV is telling me the emissions department is not part of the DMV. Can my car be flashed or something? Mini of Portland is saying, nothing can be done about my problem.

Does anyone know about mini computers or ECU being programmed with the correct VIN#, so I can renew my registration?
