What's up with drivers on Interstate 90?
I drove I-90 west from Cle Elum, WA back to the Seattle area yesterday.
The flow of traffic shows absolutely no regards for any posted speed limits. I set the cruise control at 80 mph indicated in 65 mph zones between Cle Elum and Snoqualmie Pass, and was passed by just about everything on the road except big semitrucks. I initially had the cruise set at a lower speed, but the flow of traffic was so quick that I cranked it up.
Now 80 mph indicated works out to 76 mph per my GPS. However, that's still really fast given the 65 mph zones.
What's up with this? Has the state patrol just given up on any semblance of traffic enforcement?

Don't get me wrong, I like to drive over the speed limit if conditions permit but some of these fools on the rural parts of I-90 are going 20+ over and driving really recklessly.
