but, they have done something GM cannot...get an all electric car to go over 50 miles.

It's the same core technology...

that was in the EV1, the Tesla and others. With Li-ion batteries, it really went a good distance! FWIW, the EV1 with Li-ion conversion would do about 250+.....

The same company sells a drivetrain package for $25k with a 200hp motor.... Throw in a stripped Cooper, and a bunch of time, and you'd have an JCW S eating electric new Mini for about $40k. Hmmmmmm...

Cheaper than the 300k version i have seen floating around the net...

but with 4 conversion kits...wouldnt that be 4 200 hp motors... humm...if only i had money...
