Putting a genuine (non-mockup) exotic car in the hands of an actor was pure stupidity. It's a shame to see an awesome car like that bite the dust, but the producer owner deserves it for the dumb decision.
Actor is pushing the term. You'd think after he had wrecked a priceless car he'd have a little humility, but no, as soon as he gets out he pulls yet another unfunny joke out of his huge ****nal of unwitty lines. Why you would ever allow someone like that to even touch an Enzo is beyond me, doesn't he know that everything Eddie Griffin touches instantly turns to poo?

I love the "credentials" they list for Griffin, as if that list is something to be proud of.

The ferrari enzo legend grows even stranger...I wonder if this helps the value of the car at all.

I think if I was Eddie Griffin I'd be making jokes too...anything to feel slightly less embarrassed would be great.

It looked like there just wasn't enough weight in the front of the car goin into the turn, it just lost grip there and stopped turning. Guess he wanted to win that charity race pretty bad.

I watched the movie last night - got it for free on a BlockBuster freebie rental.

It is possibly the worst movie I have ever tried to sit through.

Bad acting ?
Terrible Camera work ?
Rubbish Script ?
Flat 'jokes' ?
Expensive cars trashed for no real reason ?
worst directing evAr ?

Yes, it has all of those and way more !

The Carrerra GT destruction was mind numbingly stupid, the 456 made to look like a 612 was dumb, the Saleen looked to be in a bad way and the magical jumping Lambo with NOS made me snort beer down my nose.

No wonder it is now a 'Blockbuster exclusive' nobody in their right mind would stock it !

What sucks is that I have to see the stupid add for the movie when I drive home from work everyday. Can you believe that they never took down the billboard in LA off the 5!!!!

You know - I watched it a second time and noticed even worse 'bad stuff'

The Lambo scene.

I doubt that anyone would be dumb enough to rent it, but, here goes.

A Lambo and an SLR (which was running Fletcher Jones 'paper plates') are racing, the SLR is in the lead as they get close to the end, but the Lambo driver has been told that if he does not win, his fo will get snizzled, or something like that.

So on the long, long, long straight heading to the finish line, the driver presses the NAWZ button. the speedo immediately pegs at 220mph and it hurtles past the SLR like it was standing still.

At this point the rear spoiler starts to detach - presumably the extra few mph was too much for it. the resulting take-off (nose first ???) causes it to fly rather high and it comes down and cartwheels across the finish line, only to explode. The SLR spins (why ?) and there is a jolt and the drivers window shatters - no external 'money shot'.

The drivers last words ? "I won didn't I?' or something like that.

Imagine the exact same thing filmed by a decent crew - it could have been amazing - say Jerry Bruckheimer and company ?

As it was I struggled to hear the dialogue over my own laughter.....
